Wooyang Shin is the owner of Esteem Pilates. At Esteem Pilates she ensures quality instruction for her studio members. Her own personal back injury led her to PIlates. She found Pilates as a way to rehabilitate her injury. Realizing the amazing benefits to her body, she began her Pilates journey studying under the renowned Rael Isacowitz of BASI Pilates. She earned her Pilates certification through the BASI Graduate Program and training at Balanced Body. Wooyang earned her Aerial Pilates certification from Jennifer Van Deausen of Pegasus Aerial Pilates.
Minjeong first turned to Pilates to solve her postural problem. She was amazed by the result and how much stronger, more flexible, and freer Pilates made her feel. Passionate about the discipline, Minjeong decided to become a teacher to share all the benefits of Pilates with her future clients. She loves seeing the positive change a regular and mindful practice brings to people’s daily lives. She has completed her certification at BASI Pilates, a renowned teacher program leading the Pilates industry. She enjoys her own regular training and attending workshops to further expand her knowledge. Minjeong is passionate about helping her clients realize their goals. She brings a positive outlook to every session and strives for every client to leave happier, stronger and more relaxed than when they arrived.
As a lover of all things athletic, it was only natural that she gravitated towards Pilates. While working at a desk job for years, she fell in love with how refreshing Pilates made her body feel. Subsequently, she was taught under renowned Master Teacher, Rael Isacowitz, the founder of BASI Pilates. With a fascination for how the mind, body, and spirit works in unison to move the human body, Jessica enjoys to find ways to integrate flow and harmony into each session. Jessica brings her knowledge and insights of movement at Esteem Pilates studio which strives to provide its members quality instruction and well-being.
